Sawyers Valley Primary School has a heritage building that has been
restored as a museum and Victorian classroom. This resource is available
for school excursions whereby students can be engaged in activity based
learning experiences that take them back to the Victorian era.
We
are offering walkthroughs whilst our Sawyers Valley students and
educators take part in the activities on offer. This will familiarise
teachers with the learning experiences on offer and assist in planning
for their own unique Victorian Schoolhouse Experience.
There are four walkthrough times available with limited numbers of 5-6 people per sessions:
Tuesday 6/6/17
Session 1: 9-11:30am
Session 2: 12-2:30pm
Wednesday 7/6/17
Session 1: 9-11:30
Session 2: 12-2:30pm
Participants only need to register for one session. Please register by emailing Carey.Stewart1@education.wa.edu.au. Please note this event is not on the PLIS online calendar.
